Zachary Webster

Zach worked for Judge Steven Schwab in Freeborn County for two years before joining Birkholz and Associates in October 2020, where he has practiced ever since.

Zach earned his Bachelor’s degree in Law, Politics and Society and Business Management from Drake University, graduating in 2015. He then attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2018.

Zach currently practices in family law, criminal defense, firearm law including restoration of firearm rights and challenging denials of permit to purchase and permit to carry, and expungements. He has taken numerous cases to jury trial in criminal matters and has acquitted clients of domestic assault charges, criminal sexual conduct charges, harassment restraining order violation charges, drug possession charges and fifth-degree assault charges.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Zach finds joy in golfing, engaging in board games and cherishing moments with his loved ones. His balanced approach to work and life reflects his commitment to both professional excellence and personal fulfillment.
