Lea has been a lifelong resident of Mankato and currently resides in Good Thunder with her husband Steve. Together they have 8 children Alec, Zach, Taylor, Garrett, Lance, Millie, Peyton and Camille.

Lea began her legal career with the Birkholz team in January of 2021. In September of 2020 she obtained her paralegal certificate from Rasmussen College in Mankato.

When Lea is not in the office she enjoys crafting along with quilting and snowmobiling.
