Katie Shanahan
Legal Assistant - Mankato
Katie has been in many roles in our Mankato Office. She started as our first Mankato receptionist from 2019-2021. She then transitioned to a criminal defense legal assistant in 2021. In 2022, Katie took on the practice areas of Civil Law, Business Law, Guardianship/Conservatorships, and also handles our small claims/conciliation court matters working with several of our attorneys.
Katie has an extensive background in customer service and received her Administrative Assistant Degree in 2012. She joined the Birkholz Team in 2019 and enjoys speaking with our clients and assisting with various tasks throughout the office for our attorneys.
Katie is a lifelong resident to the Mankato area and currently resides with her husband Joe, daughter Lucy, and two lab-pitbull mixes, Duke and Django.
In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and documentaries, napping when she can, and spending time with her family attending the various events around the Mankato area.
